we take Bank Transfer, Cash and payment term. We are also a MSD/WINZ approved service.
You will be invoiced at the end of job completion you can pay us to our bank account listed on the invoice. You must pay on completion.
Whats the difference between carpet cleaning companies?
We strive to offer the most cost-effective service with our powerful van/truck mounted steam cleaning machines. While some services may be cheaper, they often use portable machines that simply can't match the effectiveness of a van mount.
We also invest in high-quality equipment and products to identify and target problem areas, ensuring you receive a superior cleaning service. Unlike some companies, we're not tied to specific product deals, so we always choose the best products for your carpets.
And remember – if you find a cheaper quote for a van-mounted steam cleaning service, we'll beat it by 10%!
What type of carpet cleaning machine do you use?
We clean carpets using steam cleaning, also known as ‘hot water extraction’. For houses 1-2 (sometimes 3) stories we use our van mounted carpet cleaning machine, which is the most effective carpet cleaning machine.
For apartments and some commercial spaces, we will often use our portable machine. It will offers an effective clean, however it is just a little less efficient to use and sometimes requires more work in removing some stains. This is due to the length of hoses and access to an outdoor tap - which impacts what machine we can use.
How long will it take for my carpet to dry after a cleaning?
The length of time it takes for your carpet to dry is dependent on the weather. Airflow, temperature and humidity all have an effect. It could take from 3-4 hours. Using fans, dehumidifiers, air-conditioning, and heating systems (depending on the weather) can help. We may use blocks or paper, under furniture legs for instance, make sure you leave those in place until the carpet is totally dry. Walking on the carpet is ok but wear clean rubber soled shoes, or no shoes at all. You certainly don’t want to be walking on your freshly cleaned carpet in street shoes. Think also of your safety when walking from damp carpet on to slippery floors.
Do you guarantee removal of all spots or stains in the carpet?
We cannot guarantee that we will remove all spots or stains. There are substances that can permanently discolour the carpet fibres. The age of the carpet and the type of carpet fibres also plays a factor in this. The technician will try to determine if this is the case prior to cleaning and while they are usually able to give you a clear answer, they are not always able to 100% determine before trying to remove the stains.
What should I do if my stains reappear?
Although most spots/stains that are removed from carpet do not reappear, on rare occasions some substances in the carpet backing can wick to the surface after cleaning and drying. Sometimes (depending on the stain source) it requires certain chemicals for removal. If this happens, please contact us with a photo and we will contact you to work out a solution.
Do I need to move all items of furniture before you arrive?
We will include furniture moving for the following items: sofas and lounge suites, tables and chairs, beds on wheels and light furniture that one technician could expect to move. Furniture that we don't move: bookcases, fish tanks, waterbeds, china cabinets, computers,TVs, and delicate or fragile items. We suggest that any loose items stored on the floor, i.e. shoes, pot plants, toys, bins, etc are removed.

Should I only clean the carpets and upholstery when they look dirty?
No. Experts say” once a carpet looks dirty, it’s really filthy. Filthy carpet can be a serious health risk, especially since New Zealanders spend a large amount of their time indoors. If you have allergies, asthma or any other breathing problems one major source of your problem could be pollens or dust mites in your carpet. By cleaning your carpet you also eliminate bacteria, chemicals and tobacco tar residue.
Why is the carpet a different colour around the window area?
Carpet in a sunny area will fade.
How soon can I have a technician come out to my home?
Depending on the availability of the technicians in your area, we will schedule an appointment at your earliest convenience. Usually we are able to dispatch someone on the same day or the next day.
Can you get the pet odour out of my carpet?
Pet odour is a very common problem that often turns out to be much more complex than initially thought. This urine also provides for the growth of bacteria. Pet urine can easily soak through the backing of the carpet into the underlay underneath. To eliminate this problem, the urine must be removed or neutralized. In the most severe cases, replacement of the carpet underlay may be required.
Is it possible to clean carpets too often?
No. Frequent cleaning of the carpet will help maintain its original appearance. It is recommended that high traffic areas (doorways, hallways, etc) and areas of heavy soiling (near kitchen, dining room, rumpus room etc ) are cleaned more frequently than other areas. Between professional carpet cleaning services remember to vacuum at least weekly with a good quality vacuum cleaner in proper working order. Allowing dry soils to accumulate in the carpet pile causes permanent fibre damage, resulting in a dirty and dull appearance.
How much will it cost?
Usually we will be able to give you an indication of the cost over the phone/internet. This should be considered as an estimate only based on the information you provided us. When our technician arrives to view your job we will confirm the cost before we start the work.
